Rear-Wheel Drive Audi Q6 e-tron Arrives In Singapore

Hot on the heels of its quattro sibling’s debut at this year’s Singapore Motorshow, the Audi Q6 e-tron rear-wheel drive variant has now officially landed.

The Q6 e-tron is Audi’s first electric model to roll out from its Ingolstadt factory, and more importantly, the first built on the brand’s modular Premium Platform Electric (PPE).

Underneath the elegant bodywork of the Q6 lies a rear-mounted electric motor producing up to 285kW of power, delivering a range of 464 kilometres on a full charge. Audi has also re-engineered its electric drivetrain to be 30 percent more efficient compared to the original e-tron series.

For those needing a quick top-up, the Q6 e-tron delivers up to 255 kilometres of range in just 10 minutes using high-speed DC charging.

A 10–80 percent charge takes just over 21 minutes, thanks to a maximum charging capacity of 225kW on this rear-wheel drive variant.

Inside, Audi has turned the cabin into something between a cockpit and a lounge. Up front is the new Digital Stage, a fully reimagined infotainment layout featuring the Audi MMI panoramic display and a dedicated passenger screen, which makes long road trips feel more like business class flights.

If that doesn’t impress your friends, the lighting certainly will. The Q6 e-tron debuts Audi’s digital light signatures, with up to eight customisable patterns in both the Matrix LED headlights and OLED 2.0 rear lights.

To celebrate the launch, Audi Singapore is transforming its Audi House of Progress into an EV experience centre from 10 to 12 May 2025. Visitors can expect hands-on test drives of the new Q6 e-tron rear-wheel drive, sun-catcher crafts for the kids, and even golf coaching sessions by Lip Golf.

“The Audi Q6 e-tron is an important model for us. As the first electric model built on the Premium Platform Electric, it represents a new generation of electric mobility at Audi,” said Martin Bayer, Managing Director of Audi Singapore. “Alongside the upcoming Audi A6 e-tron launch later this year, we’re offering more electric options to meet the evolving demands of the Singapore market.”

For those keen to make the switch to rear-driven electric refinement, the Audi Q6 e-tron rear-wheel drive is priced at S$336,999, while the more powerful quattro version goes for S$412,999, both inclusive of COE and VES.
