Motor East, one of BYD’s official dealers in Singapore, has opened a new BYD and Denza showroom at Caldecott in Toa Payoh West.
Motor East, an authorised dealer for BYD in Singapore, has opened a new showroom at Caldecott in Toa Payoh West, which will house both BYD and Denza brands under one roof.
The opening also marked the official appointment of Motor East as one of the dealers for Denza cars here, and the Caldecott location is now the third Denza showroom in Singapore, after the official distributor Vantage Automotive’s showroom at Alexandra Road, and fellow Denza dealer Harmony Auto’s facility at Ubi.
Developed at a cost of around S$2 million, and spanning a built-up area of around 45,000 square feet, Motor East’s new Caldecott location features the BYD showroom on the first floor, the Denza showroom on the second floor, and an integrated servicing and aftersales area within the building as well.
The Denza space in particular has been designed to create a family-friendly environment, with a welcoming lounge-like setting where families can explore at their own pace. Motor East says that the showroom has been crafted to offer a relaxed atmosphere, with an intuitive and engaging experience that is more personal and meaningful.
Motor East adds that it will look to further enhance the space with family-oriented features, like a dedicated children’s room, as well as organise weekly curated activities for young visitors, making it a welcome destination for customers and their families.
Motor East envisions the Caldecott showroom as a community hub that goes beyond showcasing vehicles. The company also intends to use the space to host a variety of customer engagement activities, such as test drive experiences, owner engagement events, and lifestyle collaborations, to help foster deeper connections between the brand and its customers.
To celebrate the opening, Motor East will be offering special promotions on Denza cars worth up to $8,000, such as a complimentary paint protection film package for any customer who purchases a Denza D9 or B5, and a free Denza TV for D9 customers, with the offers valid until 30 April 2026.
The new Motor East BYD and Denza Caldecott showroom is located at 5 Toa Payoh West, Motorway Building, and opening hours are 9am to 6pm from Mondays to Saturdays and 10am to 6pm on Sundays.
