When Rolls-Royce unveiled the Spectre in 2022, it demonstrated that electrification and luxury were not opposing ideas, but rather natural companions.
Four years on, the British marque has revealed the Spectre Series II, refining what was already one of the most significant Rolls-Royce models of the modern era.
The updates may appear subtle, but as Sir Henry Royce famously observed, “Small things make perfection, but perfection is no small thing.”

The new Spectre Series II features improvements in performance, range, charging capability and personalisation, while the Black Badge Spectre Series II raises the bar even further as the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever produced.
“Spectre is a landmark motor car for Rolls-Royce, conceived by our engineers, designers and craftspeople, informed by our clients and acclaimed the world over. It amplifies the qualities our clients value most: silence, effortlessness and abundant power, confirming that Rolls-Royce is perfectly suited to electrification.”
Chris Brownridge, Chief Executive of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
More Range, More Power, Same Effortless Character

Rolls-Royce engineers have focused on enhancing the qualities that clients already appreciate most about the Spectre.
Re-engineered battery technology has increased driving range by 18 per cent, allowing the Spectre Series II to travel up to 628km (WLTP). Charging times have also been reduced by 14 per cent, making ownership even more convenient.
Standard Spectre Series II now produces 442kW and 1,015Nm of torque, while the Black Badge variant continues its role as the rebellious alter ego of the Rolls-Royce family.
Infinity Mode unlocks 500kW of power, while Spirited Mode delivers up to 1,100Nm of torque, making it the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever built.
A Canvas For Bespoke Creativity

Perhaps more interesting than the engineering improvements is how Spectre has evolved into one of Rolls-Royce’s most important Bespoke platforms.
According to the company, demand for Bespoke commissions on the Spectre is surpassed only by the Phantom, with some owners requesting more than 20 individually commissioned elements for their cars.
As a result, Spectre Series II introduces a broader range of materials, finishes and craftsmanship options.

Among them is Duality Twill, a contemporary rayon fabric made from bamboo.
Inspired by the bamboo groves surrounding Sir Henry Royce’s former winter residence on the French Riviera, the material can incorporate up to 2.6 million stitches and 10 miles of thread, requiring as much as 25 hours to complete.
Clients can also choose from more than 50 thread colours to personalise the design.

Another new feature is Placed Perforation leather. Inspired by moonlit clouds drifting across the night sky, the design uses 78,138 precisely cut perforations across the seats and illuminated door panels, creating a subtle lighting effect that resembles starlight emerging through darkness.

A new Brindled Walnut veneer also joins the interior catalogue. Crafted using walnut from non-fruiting trees and eucalyptus fibres recovered from paper production, the material creates a distinctive layered pattern while demonstrating Rolls-Royce’s commitment to thoughtful craftsmanship.
The Dark Side Of Spectre

For clients seeking a more assertive expression of luxury, the Black Badge Spectre Series II receives a number of exclusive enhancements.

A new Iced Black Exterior Detailing package replaces much of the brightwork with a satin-like matte finish, extending across the grille surround, side trim, door handles and even the Spirit of Ecstasy.
The Pantheon Grille vanes remain polished, preserving a key element of the car’s identity.

New wheel designs further enhance the Black Badge’s visual presence, while specialised finishes and detailing reinforce its more dramatic character.
A Driver’s Rolls-Royce

One of the more revealing insights shared by Rolls-Royce concerns how owners actually use their Spectres.
Research conducted by the company found that while many owners keep Spectre as part of a multi-car collection, it is often driven more frequently than expected.
The average annual mileage remains around 6,500km, but some clients have embraced it as a genuine daily driver. One European owner has already covered more than 50,000km in just two years.
Rolls-Royce also notes that Spectre owners frequently charge at home and often drive the car themselves, reinforcing its reputation as a true driver’s Rolls-Royce rather than simply a chauffeured luxury vehicle.

Perfection is rarely about doing something entirely different. More often, it is about taking something exceptional and making it just a little bit better.
