Lexus has unveiled Refine Dining, a new culinary collaboration with Marriott Bonvoy that will bring a series of exclusive gastronomic experiences across Southeast Asia.
The initiative will debut in Singapore before travelling to Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia and Brunei over the next two years.
Each destination will feature specially curated dinners that bring together celebrated chefs from Marriott Bonvoy properties and local industrial designers.

Rather than focusing solely on the food itself, Refine Dining seeks to elevate every aspect of the experience, from the ingredients and presentation to the utensils used and the overall sensory journey.
The programme begins in Singapore at Michelin Selected restaurant Akira Back, located within JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach.

According to Lexus, every dish and design element has been carefully considered to create a seamless dining experience that reflects the same values found in its vehicles: craftsmanship, innovation and thoughtful hospitality.

“As a luxury lifestyle brand, we continuously seek to create opportunities for guests to discover new expressions of luxury through the Lexus ethos of Omotenashi, refinement, and craftsmanship,” said Preston Tan, Vice President of Lexus Asia.
“Extending our presence into the culinary world allows us to deliver amazing experiences beyond the automobile. By collaborating with a partner like Marriott Bonvoy that shares our passion for elevated guest experiences, we can connect with our audience in a more meaningful way.”

“This collaboration represents a new chapter in experiential dining where culinary artistry meets design innovation,” said Petr Raba, Vice President, Food & Beverage, Asia Pacific excluding China, Marriott International.
“Refine Dining by Lexus gives our chefs a canvas to push boundaries not just in flavour and technique, but in reimagining how guests interact with food itself.”
Hans Tan Studio has created a bespoke dining utensil exclusively for the experience. Crafted from Bone China, the piece incorporates bone ash derived from the restaurant’s own culinary processes, reflecting Akira Back’s commitment to reducing waste while transforming by-products into something purposeful and beautiful.

Subtle design references inspired by the all-new Lexus ES have also been integrated into the utensil, including elements that echo the sedan’s flowing body lines and signature spindle grille.
The utensil also serves a practical purpose. Engineered to retain heat for longer periods, it helps preserve the intended temperature, texture and flavour profile of each dish throughout the dining experience.

For Lexus Singapore, the experience begins before guests even arrive at the restaurant.
Invited guests attending the launch dinner will be chauffeured in Lexus’ range of electrified vehicles, extending the brand’s Omotenashi philosophy from the road to the dining table.
Lexus guests will enjoy access to selected privileges across participating Marriott Bonvoy properties, including curated stay packages and exclusive lounge, spa and dining experiences.
Alongside the dinners themselves, Lexus will release a series of short films and editorial features documenting the creative process behind each collaboration, offering a closer look at the chefs, designers and craftsmen responsible for bringing the experience to life.
