MINI And Paul Smith Bring Their Latest Collaboration To Orchard Road

MINI and British fashion designer Paul Smith are bringing their long-running creative partnership to the heart of Orchard Road, with a new pop-up offering Singapore visitors an early look at the upcoming MINI Paul Smith Edition.

Running from 28 August to 6 September 2026, the installation will be located at UGR 28, outside Mandarin Gallery, and will feature design exhibits, interactive experiences and a look back at nearly three decades of collaboration between the two British names. Admission is free and open to the public.

A Partnership Dating Back To 1998

MINI and Paul Smith’s relationship stretches back to 1998, when Smith created the original Mini Paul Smith Edition for the classic Mini. Since then, the British designer and automotive marque have continued to collaborate on projects exploring colour, materials and more unconventional interpretations of automotive design.

“MINI has been collaborating with Paul Smith since 1998 when designer Paul Smith created the original Mini Paul Smith Edition for the classic Mini.”

Daren Ching, Head of MINI Asia

The main section of the Orchard Road installation will be a dedicated history and design display. Visitors can explore a curated timeline documenting previous projects between the two brands, alongside selected materials, finishes and design samples that illustrate Smith’s approach to the collaboration.

Some of the exhibits focus on the smaller details and material touches behind the collaboration rather than simply presenting a finished car. That should offer visitors a better understanding of how a fashion designer’s ideas eventually find their way into an automotive product. QR codes positioned throughout the installation will provide additional information about the cars, while visitors can also use them to connect directly with a MINI sales consultant.

The first 100 customers who subsequently visit the MINI showroom and complete a test drive of any MINI model will receive an exclusive MINI x Paul Smith hang tag.

A Pop-Up Designed To Be Shared

An interactive neon-lit photo booth will allow visitors to create personalised photographs, with participants receiving a branded photo strip and MINI x Paul Smith sticker sheet as keepsakes.

Visitors who complete the experience and share their photographs on social media using the #MINI hashtag while tagging MINI Singapore can redeem a complimentary drink from Huggs Coffee. Quantities are limited each day, so arriving early would be advisable.

The MINI x Paul Smith pop-up runs from 28 August to 6 September 2026 at UGR 28, outside Mandarin Gallery on Orchard Road. Admission is free and open to the public.
