ION Orchard brings Formula 1 race-week action to the heart of Orchard Road

This year, ION Orchard is bringing the Formula 1 atmosphere into the shopping district with Live the Race, a series of Formula 1-themed activations spanning driver appearances, motorsport displays, fashion launches and beauty experiences.

The programme runs across several locations within the mall, with highlights including appearances by Racing Bulls drivers Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad, Haas F1 driver Ollie Bearman, and a series of race-inspired retail activations.

Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad take over The Trackside

One of the main attractions is The Trackside by Visa x TUDOR x HUGO, which runs from 1 to 11 October at ION Orchard’s Level 1 Atrium.

Visa Cash App Racing Bulls drivers Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad will make an appearance on 7 October. The activation includes a VCARB 03 show car, racing simulator, reaction challenge, TUDOR watches and HUGO x VCARB Formula One Teamwear.

Fans who complete the stamp rally between 1 and 5 October will also stand a chance to be among three winners selected for a photo opportunity with both drivers.

Ollie Bearman joins VETRESKA’s motorsport pop-up

Haas F1 driver Ollie Bearman will also make an appearance at ION Orchard, joining VETRESKA’s motorsport-inspired pop-up at ION² on 6 October from 4pm to 6pm. Bearman, who is also VETRESKA’s global brand partner, will appear alongside a pet fashion runway.

The pop-up runs from 3 to 11 October and transforms the outdoor space into a racetrack-inspired setting with photo opportunities and curated product displays. It also marks the Singapore debut of VETRESKA’s Circuit Collection, giving visitors their first local look at the brand’s motorsport-inspired pet accessories.

ELEMIS gives race week a spa treatment

Over at ELEMIS, the racing theme takes a more relaxed turn. The ELEMIS Pit Stop Spa runs from 1 to 12 October, offering visitors a chance to try the brand’s LED Helmet Mask with LED Light Therapy before moving on to the Singapore Precision Track Game.

Complete the challenge within two attempts and participants stand a chance to receive a 10g Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm worth S$15.

Estée Lauder sets up a Beauty Express

Estée Lauder is also giving race week its own beauty interpretation. At its ION Orchard store, visitors can complete The Ready Check for a personalised skincare routine, discover the new Advanced Night Repair Recovery Treatment Essence and undergo an in-depth skin analysis.

There is also a customisable Beauty Express Clicker. Customers who spend at least S$80 can personalise the clicker design, while buyers of the new Advanced Night Repair Treatment Essence can receive an ION-exclusive three-piece gift, while stocks last.

Race week beyond the circuit

Taken together, the activations give race fans several ways to tap into the Formula 1 atmosphere without heading directly to the track.
