BMW’s flagship luxury saloon receives its most extensive update yet, introducing a new design, advanced digital features and a choice of petrol or fully electric powertrains.
For nearly five decades, BMW’s flagship saloon has represented the pinnacle of the German manufacturer’s engineering, combining executive comfort with the sort of driving dynamics one would normally associate with something considerably smaller.
Now, the latest BMW 7 Series has arrived in Singapore, bringing with it a substantial technological overhaul and a glimpse into the brand’s Neue Klasse future.
Available in two variants, the BMW 735 M Sport and fully electric i7 50 xDrive M Sport, prices start from S$684,888 and S$709,888 respectively.

The new 7 Series introduces BMW’s latest luxury design language, featuring a redesigned illuminated kidney grille, minimalist crystal headlights and more sculpted bodywork. Both Singapore variants come standard with the M Sport package, including 21-inch M aerodynamic wheels.
For buyers seeking something more distinctive, BMW Individual offers over 130 exterior colours and more than 500 two-tone combinations. There is even a new Dual-Finish paint option, combining a matt lower body with a metallic upper section, separated by a hand-painted coachline.

The new BMW Panoramic iDrive system makes its debut in the 7 Series, incorporating BMW Operating System X and a redesigned digital interface.
A new Passenger Screen also joins the dashboard, allowing the front passenger to access entertainment and vehicle functions independently.

Those seated in the rear are hardly forgotten. An optional upgraded 31.3-inch BMW Theatre Screen offers 8K streaming, gaming and video calls, while a Bowers & Wilkins sound system with Dolby Atmos support provides the accompanying soundtrack.
Other features include four-zone climate control, a panoramic glass sunroof and optional Executive Lounge seating.

The new 7 Series also introduces enhanced driver assistance technologies, including BMW Symbiotic Drive, AI-supported parking functions and standard Parking Assistant Professional with remote parking capabilities.

Under the bonnet, the BMW 735 M Sport retains a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six engine, supported by 48-volt mild-hybrid technology. Producing 286hp and 425Nm of torque, it accelerates from 0-100km/h in 6.9 seconds, with a top speed of 250km/h.
Meanwhile, the fully electric BMW i7 50 xDrive M Sport delivers 455hp and 660Nm through a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. Its 112.5kWh battery provides a claimed WLTP driving range of up to 728km, while the century sprint takes just 5.5 seconds.
Both variants feature adaptive two-axle air suspension and Integral Active Steering, designed to deliver a balance between comfort and agility.

“For many of our customers, the BMW 7 Series marks a significant milestone in their lives. It is a car they aspire to own, and one that often reflects years of dedication, achievement and personal growth.”
Rene Gerhard, Managing Director of BMW Group Asia.
With its latest generation, the 7 Series introduces cutting-edge digital technology and greater personalisation without abandoning the qualities that established its reputation.
Whether one prefers the familiar refinement of a six-cylinder engine or the effortless acceleration of electric power, BMW is offering both interpretations of modern luxury.
