More than 60 BMW customers gathered for an evening of pickleball, friendly competition and networking, as Performance Motors continues to expand its ownership experience beyond the road.
BMW has always been associated with driving pleasure. But who says the excitement has to stop when the engine is switched off?
Performance Motors Limited (PML), an authorised BMW dealer in Singapore, recently brought together more than 60 customers for the latest edition of its Performance Motors Pickleball Club (PMPC) Socials.
Held on 7 October 2026 at The Sports Arina @ Jalan Kayu, the event saw BMW owners trade their steering wheels for pickleball paddles, bringing a different interpretation of performance to the court.
And unlike a spirited drive, this was one occasion where everyone was encouraged to make a racket.

The Performance Motors Pickleball Club is an exclusive community initiative designed to connect BMW owners through sport, wellness and lifestyle experiences. With pickleball continuing to gain popularity across Singapore, the club provides an opportunity for customers to interact beyond the traditional showroom or service centre environment.
The evening catered to players of varying abilities, with beginners participating in coaching sessions led by professional instructors, while more experienced players took part in social doubles matches. A showcase match, friendly games and networking opportunities rounded out the programme, creating a relaxed atmosphere where the emphasis was as much on camaraderie as competition.
Representatives from BMW Asia and Performance Motors management were also present to engage with customers throughout the evening.

Naturally, it would not be a BMW gathering without a car making an appearance. A BMW iX3 was displayed at the venue, providing a motoring centrepiece amid the sporting activities.
Participants also received exclusive PMPC welcome packs and enjoyed interactive activities organised by event partners. These included Ark Industries, Facolos, Gatorade and Viomi, which contributed customised merchandise, sporting equipment, refreshments and wellness-related experiences.
Beyond the activities themselves, the event reflects a broader approach to customer engagement, where automotive ownership extends beyond purchasing and maintaining a vehicle.

For Performance Motors, the PMPC Socials represent another avenue for strengthening relationships with its customers.
Rather than relying solely on conventional automotive gatherings, the initiative brings owners together through shared interests and activities that encourage participation and interaction.
It is an approach that recognises how the modern ownership experience is increasingly shaped by community and lifestyle, rather than the vehicle alone. After all, the enjoyment of owning a BMW should not necessarily end when the journey does.
