Lamborghini – AutoApp Dev https://www.autoapp.sg/dev Tue, 28 Oct 2025 00:49:35 +0000 en-US hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=6.9 Lamborghini Urus SE Review https://www.autoapp.sg/dev/?p=283883 Tue, 28 Oct 2025 00:49:35 +0000 https://www.autoapp.sg/?p=283883 ‘SE’. Two little letters that once adorned the boot lids of Rovers in beige with faux-wood trim. And now it’s on the Lamborghini Urus SE.

Not exactly evocative of speed, drama, or flair. But this is Lamborghini we’re talking about. And in Sant’Agata, those same two letters now mark the dawn of something rather monumental, the brand’s first plug-in hybrid SUV.

This is a rolling thunderbolt that says, “We can go green and still scare your neighbours.” With more than 32,000 Uruses sold since 2018, this SUV has firmly cemented itself as the golden goose. A staggering 70% of Urus buyers are new to the brand, and nearly half are under 40.

So, how do you keep that momentum going while preparing for an electrified future? You do what Lamborghini just did: you give the beast a new beating heart.

What’s changed?

Lamborghini Urus SE

The bonnet’s been re-sculpted and the headlights softened, with less of a scowl and more of a glare. The rear’s been tidied too, with the number plate nudged lower and new tail-lights tapering into a central spine. Design boss Mitja Borkert says the inspiration came from the Gallardo. Retro nod, or just strategic restraint? Probably both.

Lamborghini Urus SE rims

You still get wheel options up to 23 inches and Lamborghini’s obsession with lurid paint jobs remains proudly intact. Even in stealthy Nero black, the Urus SE doesn’t exactly blend in. Not that you’d want it to.

Same old shouty cabin

Lamborghini Urus SE cabin

The familiar hexagon-laden Lamborghini interior greets you upon entry. The seating position is hunkered down and commanding. Not as lofty as a Range Rover, but that’s the point.

There’s a new 12.3-inch infotainment screen derived from Audi, but restyled with sharp Lambo graphics. It’s intuitive and responsive, unlike some German cousins. The digital instrument cluster is clear, although the hybrid readouts are so tiny they might as well be Morse code.

Lamborghini Urus SE front seats
Lamborghini Urus SE rear seats

Importantly, physical buttons remain. Thank heavens. Lamborghini knows that a million bucks should buy you tactility, not just glossy haptics. The cockpit design still revolves around that tamburo, which dominates the centre console, both visually and functionally.

Lamborghini Urus SE boot

Cabin materials are first-rate with leather, Alcantara, forged carbon, and aluminium aplenty. There’s also ample space for four full-sized adults, and the boot remains a healthy 616 litres, despite the hybrid gubbins now lurking under the floor.

V8 meets volts

Lamborghini Urus SE V8 engine

The Urus SE shares its 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 and 25.9kWh battery with the Bentley Continental GT Speed and Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid. Before you raise your pitchforks, don’t for a second think this is badge engineering with a Lambo badge slapped on.

Rouven Mohr, Lamborghini’s delightfully mad Chief Technical Officer, insists this thing has been tuned with proper Sant’Agata lunacy. The petrol engine alone produces 612bhp. Add the 189bhp from the electric motor, and you’re looking at a combined 789bhp and 946Nm of torque. That’s enough to catapult this 2.5-tonne SUV from 0–100km/h in 3.4 seconds.

Lamborghini Urus SE

Yes, it’ll run in full electric mode for 59km. No, nobody who buys a Lamborghini really cares. But that e-motor lives within the 8-speed transmission and is paired with a new ‘hang-on’ clutch pack that replaces the old Torsen centre differential. This bestows variable torque distribution front-to-rear, plus a new e-LSD for agility, traction and drifts.

Drifts. In an SUV. We’ll come back to that.

What’s it like to drive?

Lamborghini Urus SE on gravel

The Urus SE has drive modes galore. You activate them via the tamburo, Lamborghini’s signature fighter-jet-style central control. Beneath the red start/stop flap are toggles that let you choose between EV, Hybrid, Performance, and Recharge modes. The other side handles terrain: Strada, Sport, Corsa, Sabbia, Terra, and Neve. It’s a lot. Annoyingly, you must cycle through them in sequence.

In EV mode, it’s eerily silent. Stealth mode for the stealth-wealth crowd. Up to 135km/h, in fact. Strada, the default hybrid mode, is where most owners will live. It’s smooth, quick, and occasionally unpredictable, and the engine sometimes roars awake even when there’s battery charge to spare.

Lamborghini Urus SE on a skidpan

Sport mode is where things come alive. With the ESC off, the Urus SE becomes delightfully unhinged. Thanks to that variable clutch, it’ll dance, slide, and power-oversteer like it’s auditioning for the next Fast & Furious.

We tested it on both a skidpan and a gravel stage at Sepang. It genuinely felt like a Group B rally car. If you can get past the mental gymnastics of chucking a 2.5-tonne SUV into a Scandinavian flick, it’s riotous fun.

Lamborghini Urus SE

But on real-world roads? It’s slightly harder to read. The SE rides well, thanks to new dual-valve dampers, and four-wheel steering makes it feel nimbler than it should. The steering could do with a touch more weight, and the upshifts can be abrupt, but the whole experience is taut, alert, and controlled.

Regenerative braking is tied to the drive mode and battery level. It’s decent but not quite organic. Thankfully, standard carbon ceramic discs (440mm front, 310mm rear) ensure stopping power is never in doubt.

Will the real Urus SE please stand up?

Lamborghini Urus SE

The SE is a paradigm shift, not just for the Urus, but for Lamborghini as a brand. Hybridisation has added layers, breadth, and, dare I say, nuance to the Urus without stripping away its soul.

It’s a riot in Corsa. A cruiser in Strada. A ninja in EV. But with so many personalities, one can’t help but wonder, which one is the real Urus SE?

Perhaps that’s the point. It’s not trying to be one thing. It’s trying to be everything. A sledgehammer with a scalpel’s touch. A 789bhp family hauler that can slide sideways through gravel with your golf clubs in the boot.

The Urus SE might just be the super-SUV we never knew we needed.

Racing With Purpose: How Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Is Cultivating The Next Generation Of Motorsport Talent https://www.autoapp.sg/dev/?p=283747 Tue, 07 Oct 2025 16:46:08 +0000 https://www.autoapp.sg/?p=283747 Since its inception in 2009, the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series has become one of the most recognisable and accessible racing platforms.

Designed with the spirit of competition and inclusivity at its core, the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series has served as a launchpad for both seasoned racers and ambitious newcomers across continents, from Europe to the United States and, more prominently in recent years, Asia.

We spoke to Francesco Scardaoni, Regional Director of Automobili Lamborghini Asia Pacific, during the latest round of the Super Trofeo Asia in Sepang, Malaysia. His insights illustrate the brand’s strategy not only to grow its motorsport presence in the region but also to democratise access to the Lamborghini racing ecosystem.

Preserving the Gentleman Driver Spirit

“The Super Trofeo series was originally created for gentleman drivers,” Scardaoni explains. “That DNA remains central to our vision even as the competition has become more dynamic and professional over the years”.

To maintain this ethos, Lamborghini introduced the Lamborghini Cup, a dedicated category within the series that ensures amateur racers still have the opportunity to compete meaningfully. As the series attracted more professional drivers, it became harder for hobbyist racers to reach the podium. The creation of separate classes allowed Lamborghini to stay true to the inclusive roots of Super Trofeo while elevating the level of competition.

“It’s really about giving people a chance,” he adds. “Many of our current GT3 and endurance drivers started in Trofeo. It’s a place to begin, to learn, and to grow.”

Greater Accessibility Through Engineering and Format

“The Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2, and in the future, the Temerario Super Trofeo, are competent machines that are also remarkably approachable for aspiring racers,” Scardaoni says.

In fact, the performance of these race cars is such that, on certain circuits, they’ve been known to lap faster than GT3 competitors. Yet the vehicles are also designed to be user-friendly, allowing drivers to ease into the world of GT racing without needing the infrastructure of a full factory backed team.

To further support customer racers, Lamborghini offers varying levels of factory assistance from technical consulting to parts support, ensuring teams can compete with confidence whether they’re professionals or independent entrants.

Sepang and Southeast Asia: A Motorsport Hub

Scardaoni is particularly fond of the Sepang International Circuit, describing it as “a demanding yet rewarding track” with “a mix of tight corners, high-speed sections, and ever-changing weather conditions.” He adds, “Malaysia is vibrant, welcoming, and central for Southeast Asian participants. It creates a unique motorsport atmosphere that we value deeply”.

The popularity of the series has prompted Lamborghini to expand its calendar to include more Southeast Asian venues. In 2026, the series will make its debut at Buriram, Thailand, an indication of the growing appetite for motorsport across the region.

“Thailand has a strong motorsport culture and a very engaged Lamborghini customer base. It’s important for us to race where the passion lives,” he shares.

Technology Transfer and the Road Ahead

Beyond racing, the Super Trofeo series also plays a critical role in Lamborghini’s product development. “Cars like the Huracán STO were born directly from our motorsport programmes,” Scardaoni notes. “The aerodynamics, electronic systems, even the steering feel are direct evolutions from our racing platforms”.

This philosophy of “race to road” remains a cornerstone of Lamborghini’s identity, ensuring that what is learned on the track informs and enhances the brand’s high-performance road cars.

Looking ahead, the next-generation Temerario GT3 and Super Trofeo cars are set to replace the Huracán variants by 2027. While these will remain ICE-powered for simplicity and reliability, especially critical for customer racing, Lamborghini is testing tyre configurations and planning broader technical support to ensure the transition is seamless.

An Invitation to Join the Family

When asked what he would say to a fan considering attending or participating in Super Trofeo Asia, Scardaoni replies with a smile: “Come experience it. The cars are fast, the atmosphere is incredible, and it truly feels like a family. We don’t rely on celebrities to represent our brand, but our customers. They are our true ambassadors”.

Charging the Bull – A Wild Day With The Lamborghini Urus SE At Sepang https://www.autoapp.sg/dev/?p=283491 Mon, 15 Sep 2025 14:19:44 +0000 https://www.autoapp.sg/?p=283491 Sepang is a great place to be if you want to wring a super-SUV like the Lamborghini Urus SE to its absolute limits.

Sepang International Circuit isn’t exactly your average weekend hangout spot, unless you’re the sort who enjoys the sound of V10s echoing off the grandstands and the smell of roasted rubber in the air.

I was there for Round 5 of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia series, soaking in the spectacle of purpose-built race cars slashing through apexes with all the subtlety of a chainsaw in a violin quartet.

Lamborghini Urus SE skidding

But, as exhilarating as the track battles were, the real surprise came in the form of an electrified beast waiting quietly in the wings, the Lamborghini Urus SE. And unlike most luxury SUVs that spend their lives parked outside cafes, this one was about to get properly dirty.

Over the course of a day that would’ve made most supercar owners wince, we wrung the Urus SE through three curated challenges.

Welcome to the Mind-Bending World of the Urus SE

From the outside, the Urus SE still looks like a Lamborghini should: aggressive, chiselled, and vaguely unhinged.

Beneath the familiar silhouette lies a new heartbeat: a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 paired with an electric motor, giving you a grand total of 789 bhp and 946 Nm of torque. That’s enough to slingshot this Super SUV from 0–100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, which is approximately the time it takes you to blink twice and regret not bracing harder.

But power is only half the story. This is a Lamborghini with multiple personalities, courtesy of a labyrinthine drive mode system that would confuse even Maverick from Top Gun. One controller gives you six terrain and road modes: Strada, Sport, Corsa for road; Sabbia (sand), Terra (gravel), and Neve (snow) for off-road. A second controller lets you toggle between EV, Hybrid, Performance, and Recharge modes.

Switching between them isn’t instantaneous; you have to cycle through each like a confused barista looking for the oat milk setting on an espresso machine. But once you find the right combination, the Urus SE transforms with alarming clarity.

Skid Control with Supercar Drama

The skidpan was our first dance, and what a chaotic ballet it was. Most SUVs on a low-grip surface either plough straight or spin like an office chair on a tile floor. Not this one.

In Terra mode, the Urus SE surprised us with how easily it held a slide, helped by its new electronically controlled clutch and torque vectoring system. With the ESC off, the algorithms didn’t hesitate to think: “Ah, drift time.” You could initiate with a Scandinavian flick and exit sideways in a manner that would make Walter Röhrl smirk.

Lamborghini Urus SE drifting

It’s uncanny. You’re reminded constantly that this thing weighs over two tonnes, and yet, it dances. The steering is responsive, the body control taut, and the 48V anti-roll system helps it feel smaller than it really is. Most cars give you a warning before they let go, this one gives you a wink and tells you to go harder.

Off the Paved Path and Into Terra

Lamborghini Urus SE in dirt

Next up was the sand and gravel course, a short but challenging loop designed to test the Urus SE’s off-road credibility. With Terra mode engaged, the car took on an entirely different character.

The throttle response became more measured, suspension softened just enough to soak up ruts, and the AWD system sent torque to wherever traction could be found. It clawed its way up steep inclines, bounded over undulations, and kept composure through uneven terrain.

Lamborghini Urus SE in mud

Let’s be honest: very few owners will ever take their Urus off-road. But it’s nice to know that if you ever find yourself late for a Michelin-starred dinner in the Moroccan desert, the SE won’t let you down.

Sepang Hot Laps: Supercar Credentials, Confirmed

Lamborghini Urus SE on track, Sepang International Circuit

We concluded the exciting day with hot laps around Sepang. Here, the Urus SE was finally allowed to stretch its legs, and stretch it did.

In Corsa mode, everything sharpens. The throttle becomes twitchier, gear changes from the 8-speed ’box come with a satisfying thump, and the V8 roars with an unmistakable Italian snarl, even as the electric motor subtly fills in the gaps. The brakes (440mm carbon ceramics up front) bit hard and clean. Even regen is managed well, never feeling intrusive.

Four-wheel steering helps you carve into corners more confidently, and the bespoke Pirelli P Zero rubber grips with purpose. Despite its girth, the Urus SE never felt out of depth. It was composed. A true Lamborghini, just… taller.

Have Your Gelato and Eat It Too

Lamborghini Urus SE in mud

The Lamborghini Urus SE is a revelation. It proves that electrification doesn’t have to mean sanitisation. Instead, it adds another layer of personality to an already charismatic machine.

Whether you’re power-sliding on a skidpan, bouncing through a gravel path, or hurtling down the main straight of Sepang at warp speed, the Urus SE delivers on every front. It’s a Swiss Army knife wrapped in raging bull skin.

And if this is Lamborghini’s future with electrification, consider us thoroughly charged up.

Lamborghini Temerario Takes Centre Stage In Singapore https://www.autoapp.sg/dev/?p=283409 Mon, 01 Sep 2025 03:41:40 +0000 https://www.autoapp.sg/?p=283409 Lamborghini Singapore pulled the covers off the Temerario, an all-new super sports car with a twin-turbo V8 hybrid heart and a wicked sense of purpose.

It’s the second act in Sant’Agata’s High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) saga after Revuelto, and it arrives with numbers that read like a dare.

“This car completes a key chapter in our Direzione Cor Tauri strategy, making us the first luxury automotive brand to fully hybridise our entire model range. We entered a new era, one that pushes the boundaries of the super sports segment and paves the way for even greater ambitions.”

Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman & CEO, Automobili Lamborghini
Lamborghini Temerario Singapore

Under the engine cover sits a new 4.0-litre biturbo V8; clean-sheet, 200 CV per litre, and capable of revving to 10,000 rpm. It’s yoked to three electric motors (one axial-flow unit in P1 position within the V8 housing, plus two on the front axle) for a combined 907hp.

0–100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and 343 km/h flat out. The clever bit is how it feels getting there: the e-motor fills the low-rev trough, then the V8’s linear surge takes over and just… doesn’t stop. Limitless progression, as the engineers like to say.

Lamborghini Temerario Singapore

“With its twin-turbo V8 hybrid powertrain, the Temerario delivers unrivalled power and refined comfort, embodying the best of Lamborghini. It is the ultimate fusion of bold design, explosive performance, and unmatched versatility. As a true Fuoriclasse, the Temerario forges an emotional connection with drivers of all levels, redefining the super sports car segment.”

Francesco Scardaoni, Region Director, Asia Pacific

Lamborghini’s new full-aluminium spaceframe does two jobs at once: it sharpens the car on circuit while improving comfort and cabin space. Compared with the Huracán, you get +34 mm headroom, +46 mm legroom, and better forward visibility.

Even drivers up to 200 cm tall can run laps with a helmet on. There are 112 litres beneath the front lid and extra stowage behind the seats.

Lamborghini Temerario Singapore

Every surface pays rent. The hexagonal DRLs hide aero trickery and sensors; channels beneath the lamps cool the brakes; the roof’s central spine and the integrated rear spoiler manage flow cleanly.

Compared with Huracán EVO, rear downforce is up 103%, and with the Alleggerita Pack (lighter bits inside, carbon rims, and further aero work) load increases up to 158%.

Lamborghini Temerario Singapore cabin

Inside, the brief reads “feel like a pilot.” Carbon, leather and Corsatex microfibre are layered with a watchmaker’s restraint; hexagonal vents nod to the house code. The Lamborghini Vision Unit ushers in the brand’s most advanced multimedia experience yet.

Two red-crowned rotors on the steering wheel chart your mood. On the left: Città, Strada, Sport, Corsa and Corsa Plus (ESC Off). Hold the chequered flag for Launch Control. On the right sit the hybrid brains: Recharge, Hybrid and Performance. Thirteen distinct “experiences” in total, from whispering through town to drawing tyre-scrub commas on kerbs.

Lamborghini Temerario Singapore cabin

Does the Temerario drive like a Lamborghini should? The numbers shout “yes,” but it’s the cadence that convinces: the elastic shove of the e-motor, the scalpel edge of the new chassis, the way the aero steadies your hands when the scenery turns impressionist.

In an age where hybrids can feel like spreadsheets on wheels, this one feels gloriously alive.

Lamborghini Celebrates Ten Years Of Carbon Neutrality https://www.autoapp.sg/dev/?p=282500 Thu, 05 Jun 2025 13:45:01 +0000 https://www.autoapp.sg/?p=282500 You wouldn’t normally associate Lamborghini V12s, carbon fibre, and thundering exhaust notes with words like “sustainable” or “eco-conscious”.

But at Sant’Agata Bolognese, the home of Lamborghini, it’s been quietly humming along for a decade.

Yes, Lamborghini is celebrating ten years of on-balance carbon neutrality at its historic production site. The birthplace of fire-breathing machines like the Aventador and Revuelto has been steadily reducing, offsetting, and recalibrating emissions, making it one of the pioneers in sustainable manufacturing within the ultra-luxury automotive space.

What exactly does “on-balance carbon neutral” mean?

Lamborghini Carbon Neutrality

It means that all the carbon dioxide produced by the factory’s operations has either been significantly reduced at the source or offset through certified environmental projects, many verified under globally recognised standards like Verra and Gold Standard.

Lamborghini’s environmental roadmap tackled emissions in three distinct scopes:

  • Scope 1: Direct emissions from company-owned facilities and vehicles (think factory boilers and transport trucks)
  • Scope 2: Indirect emissions from purchased energy, like electricity drawn from the grid
  • Scope 3: All other indirect emissions that occur across the value chain, from raw materials to customer usage
Lamborghini Solar Panels

The Sant’Agata plant didn’t just install a few solar panels and call it a day. A sprawling photovoltaic system, churning out around 800,000 kWh annually, helps power the facility. Any remaining emissions are offset through certified carbon credits, each representing a tonne of CO₂ either absorbed or not emitted.

It’s this same philosophy that has influenced innovations in hybridisation and future mobility, such as the Revuelto, the brand’s first HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle), and the fully electric Lanzador concept. They are trying to prove that the roar of a V12 and a cleaner planet can, in fact, co-exist.

After all, what’s the point of speed, if it’s not aimed toward a better tomorrow?

Balenciaga Partners With Automobili Lamborghini https://www.autoapp.sg/dev/?p=282375 Fri, 23 May 2025 09:27:40 +0000 https://www.autoapp.sg/?p=282375 Balenciaga and Automobili Lamborghini have decided to rewrite the rules of fashion.

This partnership is a fusion of performance and presence, of silhouette and speed. The main part of this collaboration is the new capsule collection, a limited-edition range that channels Lamborghini’s unapologetically bold lines into Balenciaga’s avant-garde streetwear aesthetic.

Oversized proportions, exaggerated shoulders, metallic sheens, and deep, brooding blacks that could very well match the paint of a Huracán Sterrato at midnight.

While the precise details of the launch remain cloaked in the same kind of secrecy you’d expect from a prototype test mule in camouflage, the intent is clear.

From the pit lane to the front row, Lamborghini’s raging bull now charges through the realm of fashion, guided by Balenciaga and their modern fashion. It’s a union that dares to ask: Why can’t your outfit go 0–100 too?

And if you’re wondering where to catch a glimpse of this symphony of carbon and couture, keep your eyes peeled. Rumour has it the collection won’t just sit quietly on shelves.

Lamborghini Revuelto Review https://www.autoapp.sg/dev/?p=281388 Thu, 27 Mar 2025 09:52:13 +0000 https://www.autoapp.sg/?p=281388 Bullish hybrid power meets classic Italian theatrics in the Lamborghini Revuelto.

Mention Lamborghini, and you’ll instantly picture wild wedge-shaped exotica roaring down open highways or, more likely, stuck in Orchard Road traffic, turning heads as effortlessly as they empty wallets.

So, what happens when Sant’Agata’s proud bull charges into hybrid territory? You get the Lamborghini Revuelto.

Lamborghini

Hold on, hybrid Lamborghinis? Have the famously unhinged Italians suddenly grown environmentally conscious?

Well, let’s just say the Revuelto isn’t exactly a car you buy to showcase your green credentials at a climate summit. Rather, it’s a carefully choreographed fusion of blistering performance and just enough electricity to keep future legislation happy, without sacrificing an ounce of that quintessential Lamborghini swagger.

Hybrid fury meets Italian soul

Lamborghini Revuelto engine

The Revuelto is both the successor to the mighty Aventador and the herald of a new era for Lamborghini. At its fiery heart beats a new 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12. It’s paired with three electric motors, forming a plug-in hybrid system delivering a staggering 1,001bhp.

Yes, you read that right. One thousand and one horsepower. Enough grunt to launch from zero to 100km/h in an eyewatering 2.5 seconds, and onward to a top speed exceeding 350km/h. Two of the electric motors sit proudly at the front wheels, lending instantaneous torque, razor-sharp handling, and an eerie but addictive dose of electrified thrust.

Lamborghini Revuelto

The third motor joins the V12 at the back, turning the powertrain into a beautifully synchronised performance ballet.

Think of it as an espresso with two extra shots of Red Bull, precisely what you’d expect from a Lamborghini.

Dangerously addictive

Press the Start button, and there’s still that legendary V12 howl, albeit now complemented by a brief silent glide courtesy of electric propulsion in certain modes.

It’s an odd feeling, like watching a fire-breathing dragon tiptoe quietly. But once you unleash the beast, it becomes a Lamborghini through and through.

Lamborghini Revuelto

Acceleration is savagely immediate. The torque-fill from the electric motors eliminates any hesitation, delivering brutal yet beautifully controlled power.

Grip levels are astounding, thanks largely to the Revuelto’s clever torque-vectoring front motors, which independently shift power between wheels, sharpening agility in corners like a seasoned sushi chef slicing sashimi.

Select Corsa (Race) mode, and things intensify dramatically: throttle response sharpens to the point of twitchiness, the suspension tightens, and the gearbox shifts with visceral aggression. But crucially, the Revuelto remains predictable and communicative, offering genuine confidence.

Lamborghini’s advanced aerodynamics and sophisticated chassis control ensure it corners flatly, and its behaviour is almost telepathic.

Lamborghini Revuelto

In essence, it’s a Lamborghini that truly delivers on performance, yet retains an approachable side, like finding out your intimidatingly cool friend also enjoys reading bedtime stories to their kids.

Sculpted drama from every angle

Lamborghini Revuelto

Lamborghini’s design philosophy has never been subtle, and the Revuelto proudly continues this tradition. The Revuelto is both futuristic and a respectful nod to the legendary Lambos of the past, echoing iconic cues from cars like the Countach and Murciélago.

The headlights stare menacingly, ready to devour the road ahead, while colossal air intakes and sculpted ducts actively channel airflow, creating crucial downforce. There’s also an active rear wing and diffuser, which cleverly balance elegance and effectiveness.

Open those dramatic scissor doors and the interior greets you with the sort of futuristic flamboyance usually reserved for sci-fi blockbusters. It’s a cabin built for drama, complete with a trio of digital screens.

Lamborghini Revuelto cabin

There’s a sharp, driver-focused 12.3-inch digital cockpit ahead, flanked by an 8.4-inch touchscreen that looks after your infotainment needs, and another passenger-side display so your companion can nervously monitor your exploits.

While the technology overload can initially overwhelm you, it’s intuitive enough once you get accustomed.

However, as someone who still believes some physical buttons add crucial tactile feedback, the extensive reliance on touch interfaces feels slightly out of sync with the rawness we expect from Lamborghini.

Practicality, but only just

Lamborghini Revuelto boot

While practicality might not top a typical Lamborghini buyer’s wish list, the Revuelto does offer some nods to everyday usability.

The hybrid system allows roughly 10 kilometres of pure electric running, perfect for quietly slipping out without irritating your neighbours.

Lamborghini Revuelto

There’s modest storage up front, enough perhaps for a weekend getaway, provided your wardrobe leans towards minimalist chic. Visibility? Not brilliant, but helpful parking sensors and cameras smooth out the trickier manoeuvres.

Still, nobody buys a Lamborghini expecting practicality, right?

Lamborghini, reloaded

Lamborghini Revuelto

The Revuelto is Lamborghini’s statement of intent for a future shaped by electrification. Yet, it still feels authentically Italian, extravagantly Lamborghini.

Sure, the Revuelto’s hybrid setup will appease regulators and bolster sustainability claims, but more importantly, it enriches the driving experience with an electrifying immediacy that no traditional powertrain could match. Lamborghini has evolved, using technology to amplify its legendary theatrics.

Lamborghini Revuelto

Ultimately, the Revuelto brilliantly demonstrates how a storied marque can embrace change without losing its soul. It’s still every bit a raging bull.

Lamborghini Shatters Records With 10,687 Cars Delivered In 2024 https://www.autoapp.sg/dev/?p=280361 Wed, 15 Jan 2025 11:18:05 +0000 https://www.autoapp.sg/?p=280361 Lamborghini has delivered a record-breaking 10,687 cars globally in 2024.

Lamborghini’s sales triumph was underpinned by its trio of iconic models. Leading the charge was the Urus, the brand’s luxury SUV, which accounted for over half of total deliveries.

The Huracán followed closely, captivating hearts with its adrenaline-fuelled performance and distinct style. Then came the Revuelto, the brand’s first super sports V12 hybrid plug-in.

The success of the Revuelto is emblematic of Lamborghini’s commitment to its “Direzione Cor Tauri” strategy; a roadmap to electrification that boldly integrates sustainability without compromising the pulse-pounding driving experience.

Lamborghini’s triumphs weren’t confined to European roads. The brand saw substantial growth across North America, Asia-Pacific, and its home continent, with new customer bases embracing the emblematic bull.

The addition of exclusive experiential programs, like the Lamborghini Esperienza and Ad Personam workshops, played a crucial role in deepening connections with loyal enthusiasts and first-time Lamborghini owners alike.

The bespoke Ad Personam programme continues to redefine personalisation, allowing clients to bring their automotive dreams to life through limitless customisation. Each Lamborghini becomes a personal statement of artistry, delivering unparalleled exclusivity.

As 2025 looms, Lamborghini’s unyielding focus on electrification will see it transition fully into hybrid powertrains by the end of the decade. This will include the brand’s first fully-electric model, slated to make an appearance sometime in 2028.

The automotive world awaits eagerly, knowing that whatever they engineer, it will be as bold and unrelenting as its raging bull emblem.

Lamborghini Esperienza Neve: Where Ice Meets Exhilaration https://www.autoapp.sg/dev/?p=280104 Sat, 14 Dec 2024 17:34:47 +0000 https://www.autoapp.sg/?p=280104 The crisp chill of Inner Mongolia’s snow-covered terrain, the morning sun glinting off pristine ice, and the guttural growl of a Lamborghini V10 piercing the winter stillness. This is Esperienza Neve.

Esperienza Neve is Lamborghini’s answer to the question no one dared to ask: what happens when you unleash Italian supercars in the heart of a frozen wonderland?

This exclusive event, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Yakeshi, Inner Mongolia, is a yearly rendezvous for those fortunate enough to experience the unthinkable – mastering Lamborghini’s supercars on ice.

Esperienza Neve, which translates to “Snow Experience,” is an apt name for what unfolds over these exhilarating days. Lamborghini carefully curates the event to push both its machines and its guests beyond their limits.

Guests find themselves behind the wheel of Lamborghini’s most iconic models, including the Huracán EVO and Urus SUV, designed to be as capable in sub-zero conditions as they are on asphalt.

The event is as much a test of skill as it is a showcase of Lamborghini’s state-of-the-art technology. Guests learn to harness the cars’ four-wheel-drive systems and dynamic traction control, fine-tuning their handling skills on specially crafted ice tracks.

Beyond the adrenaline rush, Esperienza Neve is a celebration of the Lamborghini lifestyle. Guests are treated to premium hospitality, with five-star accommodations and curated dining experiences that reflect Lamborghini’s commitment to luxury.

The evenings, though less frenetic than the day’s icy escapades, are no less remarkable, offering camaraderie over gourmet meals and a shared passion for high-performance engineering.

What makes Esperienza Neve truly special isn’t just the cars or the frozen setting, but the bond formed between Lamborghini and its guests.

Each participant leaves not only with improved driving skills but also with a deeper understanding of Lamborghini’s philosophy: that driving is not merely a task but an art form, a passion, and, above all, an experience.

Lamborghini Renews Support For Movember https://www.autoapp.sg/dev/?p=278871 Mon, 11 Nov 2024 10:18:26 +0000 https://www.autoapp.sg/?p=278871 Movember, the time of year when moustaches sprout and men’s health takes centre stage.

And when it comes to embracing this movement, Lamborghini is leading the charge. This marks the fourth year that the automotive giant has partnered with Movember, bringing together its global community to support issues often swept under the rug – prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention.

Over 150 Lamborghinis, each adorned with a cheeky moustache decal, paraded through the streets of Miami. These Bull Runs help spread Movember’s message with every rev and roar.

Lamborghini’s Movember efforts extend well beyond the streets. This year, the Lamborghini Museum in Sant’Agata Bolognese added its own twist with an interactive installation.

Visitors followed a “moustache trail” to a special exhibit, featuring a Lamborghini sporting a bold moustache and a container brimming with nuts. Guess the number of nuts, and you could win an exclusive Lamborghini backpack.

In collaboration with Asphalt Legends Unite, Lamborghini rolled out Movember-themed liveries for its Revuelto and Huracán STO models. It’s not every day you see moustaches in a high-octane racing game, but for a cause, why not?

Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, captured the essence of this partnership: “Since 2021, we’ve been proud to collaborate with Movember. This partnership is about action. By engaging our customers and global dealerships, we’re amplifying crucial conversations around men’s health.”

Movember’s impact is substantial, with over 1,320 projects globally. Lamborghini’s support ensures this momentum continues, fostering not just awareness but tangible change.

Health matters, and there’s no shame in making it a priority.
