limited edition – AutoApp Dev https://www.autoapp.sg/dev Sun, 01 Sep 2024 15:47:40 +0000 en-US hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=6.9 Porsche Releases Limited Edition 911 Turbo Sneaker https://www.autoapp.sg/dev/?p=277091 Sun, 01 Sep 2024 15:47:40 +0000 https://www.autoapp.sg/?p=277091 In a collaboration with Puma, Porsche has unveiled an exclusive series of twelve distinct sneaker designs.

Each colourway is limited to 911 units, to honor the 50th anniversary of the first 911 Turbo.

Each design draws from the iconic elements that have made Porsche models legendary. The “Turbo No. 1” sneaker is inspired by the Porsche gifted to Louise Piëch on her 70th birthday, or the “Turbo 930” is a tribute to Dr. Ferry Porsche’s personal 1976 911 Turbo.

For the Asia Pacific region, Porsche has chosen a striking Polar Blue colourway.

The sneaker’s design is packed with nods to the iconic 911 Turbo. Vintage turbo lettering and a discreet Porsche logo adorn the exterior.

The heel, reminiscent of the 911 Turbo’s famous “whale tail” spoiler and horizontal red tail lights, carries a tonal Porsche Crest in 3D print.

Up front, a removable plaque celebrates the 50th anniversary, adding a touch of customisation to the lacing. Puma’s new “Road Rider” silhouette, inspired by motorsport, serves as the foundation for all the models in this collection.

Beyond these special editions, Porsche has crafted ten additional designs tailored to different markets around the globe.

These designs feature one of thirty original Porsche colours from the mid-1970s, offering a nostalgic yet stylish tribute to the cars that defined an era.

Snag These Limited Edition Puma x Porsche Sneakers While You Can https://www.autoapp.sg/dev/?p=273121 Mon, 25 Mar 2024 14:47:08 +0000 https://www.autoapp.sg/?p=273121  These limited edition Puma x Porsche sneakers commemorate 50 years of the Porsche 911 Turbo.

This year marks a momentous occasion for automotive enthusiasts worldwide as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the legendary Porsche 911 Turbo. Long been a symbol of luxury and performance, the 911 captured the hearts of drivers the world over.

To commemorate this milestone, Puma and Porsche Legacy proudly present the Puma x Porsche Legacy collection, a special edition collaboration that pays homage to the timeless legacy of the 911 Turbo.

Back in 1974, Porsche made automotive history by introducing one of the first turbocharged engines in a production sports car. The 911 Turbo set a new standard for high-performance vehicles, combining luxury, everyday usability, and exhilarating performance.

To bring a unique Singaporean touch to this collaboration, Mandeep Chopra, founder of Limited Edt, a renowned Singaporean footwear retailer, has reimagined the Puma x Porsche Legacy Suede Torque.

Inspired by Singapore’s national flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim, Chopra’s design symbolizes Singapore’s uniqueness, diverse culture, and timeless appeal, much like the Porsche 911 Turbo itself.

The Vanda Miss Joaquim motif, deeply rooted in Limited Edt’s identity, adds a subtle yet distinctive embellishment to the shoe, blending seamlessly with the sleek design of the Porsche Legacy Suede Torque sneaker.

Each pair of sneakers comes in a meticulously crafted shoe box featuring the elegant Vanda Miss Joaquim motif and the iconic ‘1974’ graphic, commemorating the year the Porsche 911 Turbo was unveiled at the Paris Fashion Show.

Eleanor Wang, Director of Marketing, SEA at Puma, expressed her excitement about the collaboration, stating, “Puma is thrilled to partner with Porsche Legacy to celebrate the golden jubilee of the legendary Porsche 911 Turbo.”

“The incorporation of Singaporean inspiration, as seen in the Vanda Miss Joaquim motif, adds a unique touch that resonates with both local and global enthusiasts.”

With limited pairs available, including 74 pairs of Sport Yellow Suede and 119 pairs of Alpine Snow Suede, each sneaker is individually numbered.

The Singapore-exclusive Puma x Porsche Legacy collection is now available for pre-order at the Porsche Singapore online store and on Limited Edt, priced at S$169.

Harley-Davidson Introduces Fast Johnnie Limited Edition Series https://www.autoapp.sg/dev/?p=264187 Tue, 09 May 2023 08:22:00 +0000 https://autoapp.sg/?p=264187 It’s full American pride here, with high-performance muscle cars inspiring a limited-edition trio of motorcycles.

What’s arguably more American than a bunch of loud, boisterous motorcycles? Well, muscle cars of course.

In a new limited-edition series, Harley-Davidson is celebrating muscle car culture and its racing heritage with the introduction of Fast Johnnie, the 2023 addition to the Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection of limited-run bikes. These bikes are decked out with factory-direct custom paint and graphic treatments, amongst other upgrades.

2023 Location Photography – Enthusiast. FLTRXST Road Glide ST

Executed in Celestial Blue with white racing stripes, this special Enthusiast Collection paint scheme is offered for three 2023 Harley-Davidson models – the Low Rider ST, the Street Glide ST and the Road Glide ST motorcycles, with production limited to no more than 2,000 of each model globally.

Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection models are curated to celebrate Harley-Davidson riders, inspired by their stories and legacies. The Fast Johnnie paint scheme taps into iconic design themes featured on high-performance muscle cars and pony cars of the 1960s and 1970s.

A contrasting “racing” or “rally” stripe is creased over a bold base colour, with a clever symbolic character or logo incorporated into each motorcycle. A “Harley-Davidson” script replaces one of the thin stripe elements on the tank and front fender.

Depending on the motorcycle model, the striping is applied to the front and rear fenders, the fuel tank top and sides, the front of the fairing and the side covers and saddlebags. A custom Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection logo is also located on the rear fender.

The Fast Johnnie character applied to the left side of the fuel tank also appears on the Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle factory team motorcycles raced in the MotoAmerica King of the Baggers series. It was inspired by the story of a piglet named Johnnie, who was adopted in 1920 by Harley-Davidson racer and member of the infamous “Wrecking Crew,” Ray Weishaar, subsequently becoming a team mascot.

The piglet was often seen perched on a motorcycle fuel tank for a post-race victory lap, and this reference is usually cited as the source of the “Hog” moniker that to this day is often referenced to anything Harley-Davidson.

“The striping graphic effect is a powerful signal to the generation that came of age during this era, and is still impactful today,” said Brad Richards, Harley-Davidson Vice President of Design and Creative Director.

“The Celestial Blue base colour selected for Fast Johnnie recalls a popular tone from the muscle car era. For the graphic striping, we created a custom white colour formulated to authentically reflect the era, executed in a classic thin-wide-thin pattern on the sides and top of the motorcycle bodywork. The look is a nod to pure Americana.”

If you are a true blue-blooded American or want to be one, check out the collection via this highlighted text here.

Limited Edition Porsche 911 Sport Classic Hits Singapore Shores https://www.autoapp.sg/dev/?p=262760 Thu, 23 Feb 2023 19:15:58 +0000 https://autoapp.sg/?p=262760 Inspired by the original and other classic 911 models, the Porsche 911 Sport Classic is an amalgamation of all things great about the 911 past and present.

Porsche Singapore has officially unveiled the new retro-themed 911 Sport Classic today. The special occasion was hosted at the Mandala Club in conjunction with the Curvistan On Roads event.

Each 911 Sport Classic has an estimated price tag of around S$1.5 million, after all of the usual pricey Singapore taxes and COE. If you were thinking of snagging one up, only 1,250 vehicles will be made, and they have since been sold out.

Porsche Singapore has hinted that 4 units will be destined for Singapore, with one car (the one you see here) already registered and ready to rock.

And it is sure to rock your world with its impressive and eye-watering specs.

This limited edition masterpiece only comes with rear-wheel drive and, oh yes, a manual transmission. God bless.

The 3.7-litre, twin-turbo flat-six porker under the hood is also currently the most powerful manual 911 model ever manufactured. Churning out 550bhp and 600Nm of torque, it only takes 4.1 seconds to rocket to the century mark. Keep pushing, and she’ll top out at 315km/h.

Externally, the 911 Sport Classic features a wide body with a sweet ducktail around the back, a homage to the 911 Carrera RS 2.7. Other trinkets include a double bubble roof, and gold badging on the front fenders and rear. Just to spice things up a little more.

This example you see here is finished in Sports Grey Metallic with racing stripes running down the length of the car. Should you wish to change up its already gorgeous looks, the Sport Classic is offered in 4 exterior colours – Sports Grey Metallic, Agate Grey Metallic, Gentian Blue Metallic and Black. Yes, just black.

The inside is also nothing short of impressive, and it acts like a time capsule, taking you back to the good old days of the 911. Porsche designers utilised lush Pepita fabric on the interior seats and door panels, the same material used in the original 911 model which debuted in 1965, exactly 60 years ago.

Best of all, the 911’s signature analogue rev counter is also kept traditional. The middle screen still uses a traditional tachometer, but the rest of the is controlled by a 7-inch infotainment screen.

Catch the Porsche 911 Sport Classic at the Mandala Club before it’s gone!
