The Mercedes-Benz Concept Store located in Great World City has now closed its doors for the final time.

Created in partnership with Singapore’s authorised Mercedes-Benz distributor, Cycle and Carriage, the concept store was curated as a platform for Mercedes-Benz to raise awareness around sustainability and climate change, with the intent of spurring greater environmental consciousness.

Hence, the concept store also served as a main retail point for the Mercedes-EQ lineup. Additionally, this space also saw the launches of the Mercedes EQE and EQS.

As a final hurrah before the store officially closed its door, the space played host to a final panel of environmental advocates. The lineup included Chris Morriss from reXtore, Artist Zen Teh, Stephanie Dickson, founder of Green is the New Black, Asia’s first conscious festival and media platform, and Emily Sim, Co-founder of Superstructure, a design to fabrication consultancy.

Keeping in theme with sustainability, the materials used to decorate the store will either be reused or repurposed by reXtore. The startup is a social enterprise committed to developing a circular design eco-system, and they have partnered with Mercedes-Benz throughout 2023 and beyond.

For prospective customers who wish to experience the new EQ lineup of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, fret not! You will still be able to try them out at the Mercedes-Benz Center, located at 301 Alexandra Road.

Porsche Now Pop-Up Store Now Available At Guoco Tower https://www.autoapp.sg/dev/?p=262251 Tue, 03 Jan 2023 11:00:12 +0000 https://autoapp.sg/?p=262251 Porsche is kicking off 2023 with a new Porsche Now pop-up.

2023 is set to be a big year for Porsche. The German marque has big plans for Singapore, and it’s already launching its first endeavour in the form of a new Porsche Now pop-up store, located at Guoco Tower, next to Tanjong Pagar MRT.

This store acts as a prequel to the future grand opening of a new Porsche Studio here, which will feature special themed car displays, integrated F&B establishment, as well as public community events. This upcoming Porsche studio is set to open at the new Guoco Midtown development.

Designed to entice us with an early customer experience into what the future Porsche Studio will feel like, the pop-up is finished with sustainable materials such as recycled banner holders and various Porsche branded merchandise.

For those who wish to learn more about their cars, the store also comes equipped with a configurator, with the ability to spec up anyone’s dream Porsche. It’s not so much a showroom, but more of an experience for anyone patronising.

On display now at the store is a Taycan too, and customers can get up close and personal with it. Speaking to the Porsche representatives there, we understand that this model will be rotated out for newer ones over time.

Apart from the opening of this store, Porsche is also joining in the Singapore Art Week 2023 happening this weekend with their own unique art installation. This is happening at Gardens by the Bay starting on 6 January 2023. More details can be found here.

The Porsche Now pop-up store is now open and is located at the following address – 7 Wallich Street, Guoco Tower, #01-07, Singapore (078884).

Opening hours are from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm on weekdays, and 11:00 am to 8:00 pm on weekends.
