When GWM ORA first arrived in Singapore, it did so with cars that stood out for their distinctive styling.
The ORA Good Cat brought a sense of personality to the electric hatchback segment, while the ORA 07 introduced a more premium fastback alternative.
Now, the brand is taking its next step with the all-new GWM ORA 5 eSUV in Singapore, marking the brand’s first fully electric SUV.

“The ORA 5 eSUV represents a new chapter for the brand in Singapore. It brings together award-winning design, intelligent technology and genuine everyday practicality in a package that we believe will appeal to discerning electric vehicle buyers,” said Dawn Pan, Chief Operating Officer of Multi-Franchise Operations at Cycle & Carriage.
“Electric SUVs today can sometimes look and feel homogenous. The ORA 5 eSUV was built to a very different brief that started with design, with character, and with the driver. That is what makes it stand apart.”

Designed around the philosophy of “Born from Nature, Made for the City”, the SUV adopts soft curves instead of sharp creases, giving it a friendlier and more approachable appearance than many of today’s angular electric SUVs.
It is a design that has already earned international recognition, becoming the first production vehicle to win the Automotive Product Design category at the 2025 London Design Awards.

At the front, ORA’s signature droplet-shaped LED headlamps remain a defining feature, while the sunrise-inspired rear light signature draws a visual connection to the popular ORA Good Cat. Even the 18-inch alloy wheels feature a subtle four-leaf clover motif.
Measuring 4,471mm long with a 2,720mm wheelbase, the ORA 5 is compact enough for Singapore’s urban streets while offering generous cabin space for everyday family use.

The dashboard is clean and uncluttered, anchored by a 14.6-inch central touchscreen alongside a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Physical toggle switches remain beneath the screen, providing tactile controls.

There is an illuminated vanity mirror, 64-colour ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, a panoramic glass roof measuring 1.65 square metres, and a wireless charging pad complete with cooling functionality.

The ORA 5 offers 362 litres of luggage space, expanding to 1,120 litres with the rear seats folded. A hidden storage compartment beneath the boot floor, 33 storage spaces throughout the cabin and a built-in cooling box further reinforce its family-friendly credentials.
Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability also allows owners to power external electrical devices directly from the vehicle.

Powering the infotainment system is GWM’s latest Coffee OS 3.0 operating system, running on a Snapdragon AI processor.
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come as standard, while voice control allows drivers to operate many functions without taking their hands off the steering wheel.
Four dedicated “Coffee Space” cabin modes (Immersive, Nap, Camping and Temporary Leave) tailor the cabin environment to different situations, whether taking a short break between appointments or spending an evening outdoors.

The ORA 5 is powered by a 58.3kWh SVOLT lithium iron phosphate battery paired with a front-mounted electric motor producing 100kW (134bhp) and 260Nm of torque.
The SUV offers up to 435km (WLTP). DC fast charging allows the battery to charge from 20 to 80 per cent in approximately 25 minutes, while an 11kW AC charger completes the same charge in under three-and-a-half hours.
The SUV carries a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating and comes equipped with seven airbags alongside more than 20 advanced driver assistance systems.
Features include autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, adaptive cruise control, lane centring assist, blind spot monitoring, rear collision warning and a 360-degree surround-view camera with transparent chassis view.
Cycle & Carriage also backs the ORA 5 with an ownership package that includes 10 years of free servicing, a 10-year battery warranty and a six-year vehicle warranty.

Priced from S$177,999 with Category A COE, the ORA 5 enters one of Singapore’s fastest-growing vehicle segments.
