Meguiar has entered a new phase of its regional development, with Karrus Automotive Group appointed as its sole and exclusive distributor for Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei.
The appointment will see Karrus Automotive Group (KAG) oversee the distribution, marketing and strategic development of Meguiar’s consumer, enthusiast and professional product ranges across the three markets. It also marks KAG’s expansion beyond vehicle retail, aftersales and specialist car imports into the broader automotive ownership and lifestyle sector.
The group intends to expand Meguiar’s retail and dealer network, establish professional detailing partnerships and introduce certified technical training programmes. It will also organise enthusiast events, automotive collaborations and regional marketing initiatives aimed at educating customers about the products and the processes behind them.

A 125-year history of making cars shine
The company celebrates its 125th anniversary in 2026, having been founded in 1901 as a small family business. Since then, it has grown into one of the automotive industry’s most recognisable surface-care brands, serving everyday motorists, collectors, vehicle manufacturers and professional detailers around the world.
Its product portfolio covers almost every stage of the car-care process, including shampoos, waxes, paint-correction compounds, ceramic protection products, interior cleaners and professional detailing solutions.
Meguiar’s became part of 3M in 2008 and now sits within the company’s automotive-care portfolio, while retaining its own identity and specialist positioning.
