Cycle & Carriage Singapore has officially introduced the Maxus eDeliver 7 HGV, marking its first step into the Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) segment.
The move comes on the back of Maxus’ strong performance in 2025, where it established itself as Singapore’s leading electric Light Goods Vehicle (LGV) brand.
That success was built on a broad commercial lineup, from the eDeliver 5 to the eDeliver 9, and a growing familiarity among fleet operators with electric mobility.
So the question naturally follows: what comes next once the light-duty segment matures? The answer is heavier-duty electrification.
HGV demand has been growing at an average annual rate of around 14 per cent between 2023 and 2025, and accounting for approximately 40 per cent of Singapore’s goods vehicle fleet.
The eDeliver 7 HGV has been positioned as a workhorse first. It offers 5.9 cubic metres of cargo space and a payload of up to 1,370kg, figures that place it squarely in the realm of serious logistics work.
Range stands at up to 485km on a single charge, enough to cover a full day of urban deliveries without interruption.
There are also smaller, thoughtful touches like a rear-mounted 3-pin power outlet.
From January 2026, Singapore introduced the Heavy Vehicle Zero Emissions Scheme (HVZES), offering incentives of up to $40,000 for newly registered zero-emission HGVs, alongside grants for charging infrastructure.

The eDeliver 7 HGV comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety systems, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assistance, Blind Spot Detection, and a 360-degree camera system, among others.
Inside, a 12.3-inch infotainment display, complete with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, sits alongside a three-seat layout designed to reduce fatigue over extended driving periods.
Priced from $35,999 after incentives, the eDeliver 7 HGV is positioned as an accessible entry point into electric heavy-duty logistics.
