Zeekr has unveiled the Zeekr 8X, a new flagship SUV positioned at the top of its performance-oriented lineup.
Launched in Ningbo, China, the model expands the brand’s portfolio and sits alongside the larger Zeekr 9X as part of a dual-flagship strategy.
The Zeekr 8X is built on the SEA-S architecture and uses the brand’s Super Electric Power (SEP) hybrid system.
A key component is its 900V high-voltage system, paired with a high-performance all-wheel-drive setup and what Zeekr calls a Haohan AI Digital Chassis. These systems work together to deliver consistent performance across different speeds and driving conditions.
In its top configuration, the three-motor Flagship variant accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.96 seconds, positioning it among the fastest hybrid SUVs currently available.

As a five-seater, the 8X is focuses on space and comfort typically associated with larger MPVs. The interior features seating inspired by the Eames Lounge Chair, alongside a premium Naim audio system, aimed at enhancing long-distance comfort.
The 8X also introduces a new level of integration between cabin and driving systems. It is the first Zeekr model to feature a fully integrated intelligent control system, combining infotainment, driver assistance and vehicle dynamics into a unified interface.
At the centre of this is Super Eva, a voice assistant built on a World Action Model (WAM). Unlike conventional voice systems, it is designed to act as a central control layer, interfacing directly with systems such as the G-ASD 4.0 driver assistance platform, chassis controls and powertrain management.

Pricing isn’t available for the Zeekr 8X just yet, but being a flagship, expect it to command a high premium once it eventually reaches our shores.
