Now entering its sixth generation, the all-new Toyota RAV4 Full Hybrid arrives in Singapore with a fresh design, a more sophisticated cabin, improved refinement and the latest Toyota Safety Sense 4.0 technology.
Toyota’s experience with hybrid technology needs little introduction. After all, the Japanese manufacturer has spent more than two decades refining electrified drivetrains long before they became mainstream.
The RAV4 features Toyota’s fifth-generation hybrid system, built around a 2.5-litre A25A-FXS petrol engine.
Combined system output stands at 215hp, while fuel consumption is rated at an impressive 19.6km/litre, making it one of the more efficient SUVs in its class.

Unlike plug-in hybrids or fully electric vehicles, the RAV4’s self-charging hybrid system requires no charging cables and no adjustments to daily routines. Simply drive it as you normally would and allow the system to manage the flow of energy between the petrol engine and electric motor.
“The All-New RAV4 reflects Toyota’s commitment to providing customers with a choice of mobility solutions that best suit their lifestyles and needs. As part of our multi-pathway approach, self-charging full hybrid technology provides a practical way to improve fuel efficiency and lower emissions without changing driving habits or relying on charging infrastructure.”
Ng Khee Siong, Managing Director of Borneo Motors Singapore

The all-new RAV4 is built on the TNGA-K platform and benefits from increased structural rigidity through reinforced frame joints and suspension mounting points.
Additional use of high-damping adhesive helps reduce vibrations and suppress road noise, contributing to a quieter and more composed driving experience.

Step inside and the cabin feels noticeably more modern than before.
A 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster sits ahead of the driver, while a 10.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A head-up display projects essential driving information directly into the driver’s field of vision, reducing the need to glance away from the road.

Toyota has also introduced its first straight shift-by-wire gear selector on the RAV4, resulting in a cleaner centre console layout and a more intuitive way to select gears.
Other creature comforts include heated and ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, dual wireless charging pads and USB-C charging ports throughout the cabin.

For families, the generous 749-litre luggage compartment should prove equally appealing, offering ample space for everything from grocery runs to airport transfers.

The all-new RAV4 becomes the first Toyota model in Singapore to feature Toyota Safety Sense 4.0, the latest iteration of the company’s active safety suite.
The upgraded camera and radar systems offer a detection distance up to 1.7 times greater than before, while the horizontal viewing angle has increased by 1.15 times.
Recognition capabilities have also been enhanced, improving the system’s ability to detect vehicles, interpret turn signals and better understand complex intersection scenarios.
Additional display information within the digital instrument cluster helps drivers remain aware of their surroundings, while a new Eco-run mode integrated into Dynamic Radar Cruise Control promotes smoother and more efficient driving.

Prospective customers do not need to wait long, as the new Toyota RAV4 is now available for viewing.
