Nissan has officially opened its newly renovated Ubi flagship showroom and marked the occasion by showcasing four new models in its lineup.
Nissan’s official distributor in Singapore, Tan Chong Motor Sales, has opened its newly renovated Ubi flagship showroom, which the company says will better integrate sales and after-sales operations under one roof.

The refreshed showroom will feature larger consultation areas where sales staff and customers can have discussions in greater comfort, as well as a customer lounge integrated with the service reception area, offering greater convenience when owners drop off their cars for servicing appointments.

A particular highlight of the updated showroom is the 18-metre-long single-screen LCD wall, which Nissan says is the biggest of its kind in Singapore.
The display will be used to showcase Nissan’s range of vehicles, technology advances and brand stories in an immersive experience.

Nissan also took the opportunity to showcase four new models at the revamped showroom’s opening on 25 September, including the launch of the updated Serena e-Power, as well as special previews of the facelifted X-Trail e-Power and the new Kait e-Power and Elgrand e-Power models.

The refreshed Serena gets a new design, as well as improved features such as an enhanced version of its Intelligent Around View Monitor system with 3D rendering capability, as well as the inclusion of Nissan’s ProPilot Assist 1.0 driver assistance system.
The Serena will be offered in Prestige 7 and Smart 8 variants, being seven and eight-seater offerings respectively, with the latter being the only MPV in its segment to offer seating capability for eight.

The X-Trail meanwhile, which is expected to go on sale later this year, gets Nissan’s e-4orce all-wheel-drive system that features dual electric motors, as well as a refreshed look with a new grille and headlight design, along with updated driver assistance features.

Nissan also showcased the Kait, which is a compact crossover based on the new-generation Kicks but developed for regions like Latin America and South East Asia.
Tan Chong states that the Kait will not replace the Kicks, and the car will go on sale some time next year, followed by the new Kicks at a later date.

Finally, Nissan also previewed the new Elgrand, which will become the brand’s flagship luxury MPV in Singapore when it goes on sale here next year. The Elgrand has already received over 10,000 orders in its home market of Japan following its launch two months ago, reflecting the model’s immense popularity and appeal.
Nissan adds that it plans to add up to 10 new models to its lineup in Singapore over the next 24 months, possibly including electrified models like the Qashqai e-Power and new Kicks and Leaf crossovers, while the exciting Fairlady Z sports car is also expected to go on sale here some time in 2027.
