Well, there weren’t specifically any criteria that we referenced in order to determine what vehicle fits in this category.
Of course, we couldn’t just pick a car with our hearts. The car we chose, even if it didn’t win another category, had to blow our expectations out of the water, and possess that special desirability factor that makes our hearts yearn for more.
A car that, throughout the course of 2024, evoked so much emotion and joy that we just couldn’t get enough of it.

AutoApp Car Of The Year Editors’ Choice
Kia Sorento Hybrid
It isn’t the strongest, nor the most practical, nor the fastest. But, the team at Autoapp all unanimously loved the Kia Sorento Hybrid, and that’s why it is deserving of this award.
It ticks pretty much every box a family could possibly need in a car, and we were all in agreement that if we were out shopping for a family SUV (Sean may be young, but he is thinking for the future), the Sorento Hybrid would be high up on everyone’s list.
