BMW Eurokars Auto Debuts Limited Edition Botero Designed Cars

BMW Eurokars x Botero

BMW Eurokars Auto x Botero: A Precious Steed is an unusual, thoughtful collaboration that asks us to look at the automobile as a form of artistic expression.

Presented in dialogue with Botero in Singapore, the landmark exhibition staged by IMBA at Gardens by the Bay, this collaboration positions the BMW automobile within a wider cultural conversation, one that explores form, volume and movement through the unmistakable visual language of Maestro Fernando Botero.

In Chinese culture, the horse symbolises strength, vitality and forward momentum, qualities long associated with BMW. Even the brand’s Chinese name, 宝马, translates literally to “precious steed”, lending an almost poetic inevitability to the collaboration, particularly in the Year of the Horse.

BMW’s pursuit of dynamic performance, innovation and refined luxury finds a natural partner in Botero’s exploration of scale, presence and confidence of form. The result is a collaboration that feels like a considered cultural extension.

The BMW 735i and BMW iX40 will be showcased at the BMW Eurokars Experience Centre on 24 and 25 January 2026, with the BMW 735i also presented at IMBA, Gardens by the Bay from late January.

Each of the three vehicles is available for purchase through BMW Eurokars Auto, with pricing available upon request.

“A Precious Steed reflects our belief that the automobile can be a contemporary cultural form, one that carries meaning, craftsmanship and emotion. Inspired by Botero’s exploration of volume and presence, this collaboration places BMW design in conversation with art, allowing culture to move beyond the gallery and into lived experience.”

Jason Lim, Managing Director of BMW Eurokars Auto

BMW Eurokars Auto will also host an exclusive private showcase for BMW Excellence Club members, reserved for BMW 7 Series owners. The evening will include a special sharing by Fernando Botero, offering guests an intimate perspective on his father’s artistic legacy, philosophy and enduring influence.
