Charge+ and XPENG are building a spine of high-powered “supercharging” hubs across Southeast Asia to make long-distance electric driving possible.
The Singapore-headquartered charging operator and the Chinese EV marque have inked a strategic partnership squarely aimed at cross-border travel.
How quick is “supercharging” in their book? Headline numbers are stout: sites rated up to 480kW DC, with XPENG’s 5C battery tech enabling peak 451kW charges, enough to whisk a pack from 10% to 80% in as little as 12 minutes.

Four hubs are live today; Royal Square Novena and Downtown East in Singapore, KL Eco City in Kuala Lumpur, and One Bangkok in Thailand. KL Eco City houses six ultra-fast points capable of up to 350kW DC, currently the fastest EV station within Kuala Lumpur.
Phase two stretches the map further, adding more sites in existing markets and moving into other Southeast Asian countries such as Indonesia. Crucially, the deployment focuses on practical, high-traffic touchpoints rather than headline-chasing one-offs.
“As the largest EV charging operator in Southeast Asia, Charge+ continues its mission to catalyse electric mobility in the region with its visionary 5,000km EV charging highway that connects Singapore to Hanoi in Vietnam. This partnership with XPENG, a forerunner in EV technology, reflects our shared commitment to enable a seamless experience for long distance, cross border driving.”
Mr. Goh Chee Kiong, CEO of Charge+

Charge+ is mid-way through a 5,000-kilometre EV “highway” linking Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam which dovetails neatly with the new XPENG tie-up to make cross-border motoring feel seamless rather than ceremonial.
XPENG owners will enjoy exclusive discounts on Charge+ public chargers across Southeast Asia for three years, with extra savings at the co-branded supercharging hubs. In parallel, XPENG users will soon be able to find, start and stop charging on Charge+ stations directly from the XPENG app, first on mobile, then integrated into the in-car display by the end of 2025.
“We are excited to collaborate with Charge+, a leader in EV charging solutions in Southeast Asia. Supercharging has been a core focus of XPENG with all EV models using technologies such as 800V platforms and 5C batteries to achieve ultra-fast charging. As XPENG continues to bring its innovative EVs to this region, we are confident we will be able to unlock new opportunities together with Charge+.”
Mr. Gao Xiang, General Manager of XPENG Charging
“As XPENG’s official distributor in Singapore, we have witnessed the rapidly growing popularity of XPENG models like the tech-loaded G6 on Singaporean roads as well as other global markets. With the partnership between XPENG and Charge+, we are happy that XPENG owners are going to enjoy further fast charging services across the country.”
Mr. Lee Hoe Lone, Managing Director from Premium Automobile Group
Good infrastructure is invisible when it works. Long-distance EV driving in Southeast Asia will soon feel less like a carefully planned expedition and more like what it should be: point, go, enjoy the drive.
