The new integration gives EV drivers access to Charge+ stations in Singapore and Malaysia directly through OneGo, removing the need to juggle another charging app, account or stored-value wallet.
Owning an electric vehicle is supposed to simplify motoring. Then you venture beyond your usual charging routine and discover the other side of EV ownership: the apps.
One for this charging network, another for the next. Different accounts, different payment methods and, occasionally, a stored-value wallet containing just enough money to be annoying but not enough to pay for your next charging session.
Performance Motors Limited (PML) is attempting to tidy up part of that experience with a new feature for its OneGo by Sime Motors app, integrating Charge+ public charging directly into the platform.
More importantly for drivers, it means OneGo can now be used to find a charger, start and stop a charging session, monitor its progress and pay for it, all without leaving the app.
One less app to worry about
Charge+ is PML’s first charging integration partner, with a regional network of more than 6,000 charging points.
Through OneGo, drivers can locate compatible Charge+ stations in both Singapore and Malaysia. Once there, they can select the appropriate charging point within the app or simply scan the QR code on the charger to begin a session.
PML says the new integration is specifically intended to address this issue by reducing the need for multiple charging apps, accounts and payment methods.
“As EV adoption grows in Singapore, customers increasingly expect charging to be as seamless as every other aspect of vehicle ownership. And for our EV customers who enjoy driving to Malaysia, whether for a day trip or longer road trips, this new feature will ensure they enjoy those journeys with the same confidence they experience at home.”
Lawrence Tan, Managing Director of PML and Sime Motors Singapore.
No charging wallet required

Instead of requiring users to purchase or top up charging credits in advance, OneGo bills each charging session directly to the credit card linked to the user’s account. Charging history and transaction records are also stored within the app and can be downloaded, giving drivers a consolidated record of how much electricity they have used and spent.
Charging fees themselves remain based on prevailing Charge+ rates, which are displayed within OneGo before use.
Not just for BMW owners
Despite PML being an authorised BMW dealer, the charging functionality is not restricted to BMW drivers.
Existing Sime Motors Singapore new and pre-owned car customers who already have their vehicle information registered with OneGo can access the feature immediately. This includes customers of PML and Auto Selection. Other EV owners can also use the service by creating a free OneGo account.
Cross-border journeys have become increasingly viable for Singapore-based EV owners as charging infrastructure expands, but they also introduce another layer of planning. OneGo users can locate Charge+ stations in Malaysia and handle the charging session and payment through the same app they use in Singapore.
“Charge+ is excited to deepen our partnership with Performance Motors by extending access to our charging network on the OneGo app. We aim to make every journey more seamless and hassle-free, giving drivers greater confidence to go wherever the road takes them in Singapore and Malaysia.”
Goh Chee Kiong, CEO of Charge+.
Turning OneGo into an ownership hub
EV charging is only the latest addition to OneGo. The platform already allows customers to book servicing appointments, track the status of their vehicle during servicing, access PML’s 24-hour Contactless Key Drop lockers, manage PML$ rewards and RSVP for exclusive customer events.
PML also supports EV customers through initiatives such as public charging packages with various operators and loyalty rewards, and says it intends to explore further charging-related services and partnerships.
Tan described the Charge+ integration as “another step in PML’s efforts to bring together the services that matter most to customers in the most seamless and convenient way”, adding that the company would continue working with partners to improve the EV ownership experience.
