JETOUR is expanding its presence in Southeast Asia, with VINCAR Group appointed to oversee its sales, marketing and aftersales operations in Singapore.
Singapore’s automotive market is becoming an increasingly crowded affair, particularly with the arrival of several Chinese manufacturers in recent years. But that has not stopped another ambitious name from joining the competition.
JETOUR, the SUV-focused brand established under Chery Automobile, is officially entering Singapore, with VINCAR Group appointed as its authorised distributor.
The partnership marks another milestone for the local automotive group, which will oversee JETOUR’s brand development, retail operations, sales, marketing and aftersales services.
A Young Brand With Ambitious Numbers

Established in 2018, JETOUR might be relatively young compared with established automotive manufacturers, but its growth has been anything but modest.
As of 31 August 2026, the brand had recorded cumulative global sales of more than 2.5 million vehicles, with a presence in over 100 markets worldwide. In 2025 alone, JETOUR sold 622,590 vehicles globally, representing a 9.5 per cent increase over the previous year.
Closer to Singapore, the brand has also enjoyed considerable success in Malaysia. During the first half of 2026, JETOUR Malaysia delivered 5,048 vehicles, comfortably surpassing its entire 2025 sales figure of 2,743 units.
Its performance in the Middle East has been similarly encouraging, where JETOUR claims an 8.5 per cent share of the SUV market, ranking third behind Toyota and Nissan.
It also holds the distinction of being the region’s leading Chinese SUV brand.
SUVs Built Around Adventure
Unlike manufacturers offering everything from compact hatchbacks to luxury saloons, JETOUR has concentrated its efforts on SUVs.
Its vehicles are developed around the brand’s Travel+ philosophy, which places exploration and lifestyle experiences at the centre of its identity.
The range spans family-oriented SUVs to more rugged, adventure-focused models, catering to motorists seeking practicality alongside a sense of adventure.
Admittedly, Singapore’s roads rarely demand serious off-road capabilities. But with the growing popularity of SUVs and cross-border road trips, JETOUR’s positioning could appeal to buyers looking for something different.
VINCAR Group Leads The Local Expansion

For VINCAR Group, the appointment represents another step in expanding its automotive portfolio. Established in 1989, the Singapore-based company brings more than three decades of experience in vehicle distribution, retail operations and aftersales services.
Its existing infrastructure and understanding of local consumer preferences will be central to establishing JETOUR’s presence in Singapore.
“Being appointed as the authorised distributor for JETOUR in Singapore marks an exciting new chapter for VINCAR Group,” said Ernest Tan, Deputy CEO of VINCAR Group. “As we continue to expand our automotive portfolio, we remain focused on introducing brands that offer something distinctive to the market.”
Another Contender In Singapore’s SUV Market
While VINCAR Group has confirmed its distributorship, specific models, launch dates and Singapore pricing have yet to be announced.
Nevertheless, the partnership provides JETOUR with an established local distributor and a foundation for its long-term expansion.
Whether its adventure-focused philosophy will resonate with Singapore motorists remains to be seen. But one thing is certain: the local SUV market is about to become even more competitive.
